Go home. Give your kids (parents and loved ones) a hug and don’t let a day go by without telling them that you love them.

This quote from The Laramie Project could not have been more fitting for today. Tragedies like this reaffirm that I am truly blessed and thankful for the people in my life. I’m so happy that I’m one of the many students who is a part of the strong Virginia Tech community. The vigil today reminded me how much love, compassion, and solidarity we have as a Hokie nation. <3
